Why we built this.

I spent ten years trying to raise money for ideas I believed in. Every round started the same way — a list of investors I didn't know, an inbox of unanswered cold emails, and the slow realisation that capital flows through relationships, not résumés.

The founders who got funded weren't always the best. They were the best connected. That bothered me enough to do something about it.

NewPitch is what I wish had existed back then. Screened panels. Real investors in the room. No upfront cost. A fair shot, decided on the merits of the business — not the address book of the founder.
