Payment terms

Payment terms, explained.

When is payment due

Payment is due within 30 days of investment funds arriving into your account. We will invoice you directly at that point.

What counts as a successful close

A successful close is defined as funds from an investor introduced through NewPitch arriving into your business bank account. Heads of terms or verbal commitments do not trigger the fee.

What if investment comes in tranches

If an investor commits in stages the fee applies to each tranche as it arrives. We will agree a payment schedule with you upfront so there are no surprises.

What if multiple investors from the same session invest

The fee applies to the total investment raised from NewPitch introductions regardless of how many investors participate. You pay once on the combined total, not separately per investor.

The introducer agreement

The introducer agreement — what it means in plain English.

When you apply to NewPitch you accept a legally binding introducer agreement. This confirms that NewPitch is the introducer for any investor you meet through our platform for the first time, and that if investment follows, a success fee of 5% of the amount raised is payable to NewPitch.

The agreement applies for 24 months from the date of your pitch session. It covers direct investment from investors you meet through NewPitch, as well as investment from any third party that an introduced investor refers you to.

Before you apply, you will be asked to submit a list of investors you already know. Any investor on that list who appears on our panel will be excluded from the agreement entirely — so your existing relationships are always protected.

The agreement exists to protect both parties. It gives you complete clarity about what you owe and when. It gives us confidence that the work we do connecting you with investors is fairly recognised.

We are happy to answer any questions about it before you apply.

FAQ

Common questions about pricing.

The 5% fee applies to any investment received from an investor introduced through NewPitch within 24 months of your pitch session — including follow-on investment from the same investor within that period. If the same investor participates in a future round after the 24-month window has closed, no fee applies to that subsequent round.

If a NewPitch investor makes a secondary introduction to someone outside our platform and that person invests, the fee does not apply to that secondary investor. The fee applies only to direct NewPitch introductions.

No fee is due. The fee is triggered only when funds are secured. If a deal collapses at any stage before that no payment is owed.

Our fees are subject to VAT at the standard United Kingdom rate where applicable. We will confirm this on your invoice based on your business registration status.

Our fee structure is fixed for all founders. The model is designed to be fair and transparent — the same terms apply to everyone on the platform.

The fee applies to the total amount raised from NewPitch introductions regardless of the amount stated in your application. If you raise more than expected that is a good outcome for everyone.

We invoice you directly within five working days of funds arriving. Payment is accepted by bank transfer. We will provide full bank details on the invoice.

Email us at support@newpitch.co before you apply. We are happy to answer any questions and want you to feel completely comfortable with the terms before you commit to anything.
